A Deseret News poll on LDS fiction:

And another way to make your opinion known:

BTW, does anyone know who is the author of that website (above)?

LDS Fiction is run by LDS Publisher, an anonymous blogger who also runs the LDS Publisher website. LDS Publisher is a fantastic blog for Mormon literature. Lots of good advice and discussion about the LDS book industry.

A recent post of note was guest blogger Jeff Savage's "The Quality of LDS Fiction", which featured a lively exchange in the comments between A Motley Vision's William Morris and some of the mainstream authors about literary and genre fiction.

LDS Publisher wants to remain anonymous, so she can give advice and tell the inside story of the industry without hurting her business. The only clues she gives is that she is a woman, and her publishing house is a small independent one (she does not work for Covenant or Deseret Book). I have an idea of who it is, but why ruin a good thing.

Andrew is so polite to use the word lively. Hopefully it doesn't across too much this way in what I say, but in my mind I ranged from exasperated to pedantic to bemused.
