PD (Paul) Mallamo has a story published by literary journal Granta this month, titled "Sign of the Gun". It appears that it is just on the on-line version of the journal, in a "New Voices" section. It is a well written story, about a kind but tough drug runner who saves a Mormon woman from bandits in New Mexico. Stuck together until his pot crop matures, they come to respect each other. There is some salty language. Her Mormon-ness is a major topic of conversation.
