"March of the Salt Soldiers," Tuesday, 7 p.m., Utah Valley University BlackBox Theatre, Gunther Trades Building Room 627.
This is a new historical play for the sesquicentennial of the close of the Utah War. Script is by James Arrington and Mahonri Stewart.
No preparation needed, actors will be asked to read from the script. Directors are looking for two men ages 23-35; two women ages 24-28; and a man and woman 50-60 years of age.
The show will rehearse through August and premiere in September. A fall statewide tour is planned. All roles compensated, pending funding.
